Baccarat Rules
How Card Points Are Counted
Ace is worth 1 point, cards 2 through 9 are worth their face value, and 10, J, Q, K are each worth 0 points. If the total points of a hand exceed 10, the tens digit is dropped and only the remaining digit counts — for example, 15 points becomes 5 points.
How Cards Are Dealt
Both Banker and Player are first dealt two cards each. Whichever side's total is closer to 9 wins. If either side reaches a total of 8 or 9, it is called a "Natural" and no more cards are drawn — this is a strong position to be in.
Drawing a Third Card
